Noème – is a French term used in philosophy, describing objects that do not exist in reality but as idea, thought, imagination etc. – or from this new perspective: objects within the virtual space. Minimalist ambient mode for maximum battery life.

In consequence, we created the most energy saving ambient mode possible. Besides minimalist minute and hour hands, this leads to a computed reduction of the minute markers, only displaying the relevant markers to identify the current time on your Noème Lunar; watchface.
Custom made + animated set of singular numerals.
Numerals are one of the most expressive elements for the visual appearance of a watch. For the Lunar; watchface, we utilized the new possibilities of smartwatches and not only created a custom made set of numerals, but also animated them for a unique experience when switching from ambient to active mode on your Noème Lunar; watchface.
100% more accurate in-house moonphase complication.
While a lot of watchmakers – including luxury brands like Breitling, Omega or Tudor – are using mass produced standard movements, the very elite of high watchmaking is creating the parts, complications and movements of their timepieces all by themselves. We are following this approach with your Noème Lunar; watchface by not using APIs by Google but rather creating a custom in-house moonphase complication, which is 100% more accurate then the API of Google.
Perpetually randomized constellation of stars.
An often performed strategy of high watchmaking is to create an object, that can be passed on from generation to generation. An object, that retains its value, quality and esthetics. Of course your Noème Lunar; watchface could be used in the smartwatch of your grad-grandchildren, but it will subtly surprise you with a new constellation of stars every single time you look at it.
